“The seaview room is beautiful. All the rooms were bright and warm during winter time. We enjoyed our stay. The owner gave us all the information around the town and useful maps for visiting the national park while check-in. A very thoughtful gentleman.”

“Great location. Fantastic accomodation. Only disappointments were only getting checkin information 10 minutes before check-in time. Caused some concern and anxiety as to whether information would come through incase of poor internet/mobile reception. Also a 3pm checkin is much later than everywhere else we have stayed.”

“Great location with amazing views and easy walk to cafe and shop Very cozy and comfortable.Highly recommend this stay”

“Very nice owner, sufficient amenities with super clean housing condition.”

“The accommodation was in a great location with amazing views. It was warm, cozy and cute. Would come back again. ”

“The property was reasonably clean, bed was comfortable and the place roomy for a couple. The shower door hinge needs repairing. The owner loves house plants which makes the property homely and friendly. ”

“Freycinet perfectly accommodated our small group of 3 adults. The kitchen and bathroom/laundry was well equipped, and we enjoyed the great view over Coles Bay from the lounge area. This accommodation is very centrally located in the township, and only a short walking distance to both the Bay and shops, but was still quiet and peaceful. My only suggestion relates to the septic which did have a slight smell as per previous reviews. This didn’t worry us as we were there during the cooler months. I……

“Lovely 3bedroom one bathroom house. Kitchen is very well appointed. Bedrooms lacks storage if you plan not to live out of your suitcase. Bedrooms don’t have hanging facilities or any draws. Two sitting areas both with TV and water views. Cottage has a separate laundry area with a washer and dryer. There is a walkway down to the water (steep incline).”

“Loved the location on the water! Stopped in at the IGA for dinner and bfast supplies. Highlight was having a drink on the decks by the beach…”

“House is clean, adequate and somewhat "barebones." Kitchen is well-equipped with pots, pans, cutlery etc but has a very small electric stove/oven. Great for small, uncomplicated meals like pasta. Grill was too dirty to use. Beds were comfortable and the deck is very nice, lots of natural light in the house. It worked out well for our 2 night stay in the area, but I felt it was sort of expensive for what it was.”

“Amazing location with lovely views and amazing walks to the beach. The cottage was clean, cozy and comfortable. We enjoyed the fireplace. The host was friendly and helpful. We hope to visit again in future.”

“We absolutely loved our stay here. The house was so cozy, peaceful and welcoming, with a fantastic view and a wonderfully serene atmosphere. Everything was spotlessly clean, and the king-size bed was incredibly comfortable. What really touched us was arriving to find the lights softly dimmed, gentle music playing, and the house already at the perfect temperature. It was such a thoughtful welcome and made us feel at home straight away. We also really enjoyed reading about how the property was……

“Absolute perfection at Halcyon House, Coles Bay! We had the most incredible stay at Halcyon House. The property manager was outstanding from start to finish — excellent communication, super responsive, and genuinely warm and helpful. It made everything effortless. The house itself is stunning. It sits right on the ocean, so you wake up and fall asleep to the sound of the waves. It’s incredibly peaceful and private — the perfect escape. The kitchen is large and very well equipped, and the……

“Very clean, quiet, comfortable place with character. Perfect for a couple. The coastline may have changed but the "nearby beach" was a bit tricky to access.”
