“It was extremly hard to find were to check in I went around with my heavy suitcase for so Long.. when I finally found where to check in i had to walk from the check in down the street and up a lot of stairs. The room and view was really good, and the town was so cute.”

“Check in is at the HS Milfontes Hotel near the river. Everything was great. ”

“The hotel is old, dark and rundown. We had a cockroach in the room crawling on the ceiling before bed. The breakfast was barely bearable, with it being served in a hot room with no AC. The meats and cheeses were just left out to get warm. The milk had even curdled for the very weak, watery coffee. There was also a funny smell throughout the lobby area and no one spoke English, which isn’t too bad, but they didn’t even try to communicate. I would never stay there again.”

“The size of the TV in the room is not what they said 50". It is only abiut 25" and there were no signal on my last two days stay.”

“The hotel is in an excellent spot overlooking the beach. It’s particularly lovely at sunset the breakfast was excellent and the staff are very helpful. The actual room was clean and hygienic. The only issue we had is that the hotel looks worn out it needs to uplift, painting and show an element of modernisation. Overall we enjoyed our day.”

“As you know I book our travels through Expedia regularly. This was the worst, and the only dreadful experience we have ever had. Check in at the “check in centre” was dreadful, slow and not as expected. We expected to be staying close to the sea, as we had when we visited last year, but our accommodation was several miles inland and very very disappointing. We didn’t see any staff and didn’t get any breakfast. Very expensive for an absolutely dreadful stay. We hope we get a significant……

“No beach view, only view was the wall of the courtyard. My room looked nothing like what is shown in the pictures. Good enough to crash for one night but not more than that. ”

“Room was nice though a little small. Also had a terrace with 2 loungers. Bathroom floor was heated. Access to free bikes to ride up the coast was great. Easy access to a great secluded beach that you roped down to was unique. Nice pool. Really cool vegetable garden where you could eat tomatoes off the vine and pick a watermelon to eat. Also could get leaves from vegetable garden to go feed the goats and Violet (the donkey). Goats always happy to see us. Violet sometimes was in a mood but……

“This is such a unique and comfortable stay at an unforgettable turismo rural! The staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming to me and my dog. The breakfast and dinner were excellent. The location with the animals was a different and fun experience. The location close to beachfront site sites and the towns of Porto Covo and Sines could not be beat. I highly recommend!”
