“Washing machine but no clothes horse! Cleaners were slap dash and didn’t speak the basics! Didn’t understand the word towel! Towels and bedding need to be updated they were tired. Gang of boys creating noise at 4am every morning. On a positive note the apartment was lovely and suitable for me as a wheelchair user. “Another wonderful stay here at the Marriott Residences. A few small issues like our rooms were not cleaned until very late in the afternoon for some reason, and we had to keep asking for water and face cloths as these items were not replenished each day. We also had a small issue with the power cutting out whilst using the oven in the apartment, we had to wait over an hour before someone came to check for us, by that time we had managed to locate the fuse box and sort ourselves. “Didn't spend a lot of time inside the hotel because there are so much to see in Algarve. Rooms are really spacious and clean with a huge balcony. A relaxing stay except the buffet dinner where you have to check in with the receptionist and then queue at a certain area to wait for seating. Food (not so hot) and ambiance are totally canteen-like. The next day we spent some more to eat at the Japanese restaurant next door which is good in terms of food and service - but you only get 15 Euro credit……

“Hotels not that big. Perfect really. Had a great time with the family, made it feel relaxed and peaceful. Theres just a few things that need improving, we found spiders and ants in my room. We could never quite figure out the lights. The Pool closed 7pm which I felt was a bit early, especially being in the Summer. They also do BBQ nights on Thursday… when we called it was fully booked. We would have loved to have experienced it, so perhaps encouraging guests to reserve in advance would help or……

“The staff was very courteous and very helpful as an American, who did not understand Portuguese. The staff went out of their way to give me directions and guide me. Also, the breakfast in the morning was over the top homemade goodies along with custom eggs, your choice of meats. I also met the owners of the property who took pride in their establishment, which made me feel very comfortable. I look forward to going back.”

“The room was super clean and well located, but it is tiny. We had to manoeuvre through the door without hitting the bed with our bags and my husband had to climb over the bed to get to the bathroom as the space between the bottom of the bed and the wall is reduced even further with the TV on the wall. Hubby loved the pillows but it was too big and hard for me so I ended up sleeping without one. The water bottles next to the bed was a nice touch and very much appreciated in the heat.”
