“The location is excellent. This is an old motel that the company EVO has purchased and did a semi renovation. The restaurant was not good”

“The location is perfect in Tahoe City, right across the street from The Commons. It was close to great food, drinks and bakery’s. I stayed in room 8, which was on the top floor. The room was spotless, the bedding very comfortable and of high quality. I slept really well and it was very quiet. I appreciated the shampoo, body lotion and conditioner. The thing I DIDNT LIKE was the check in process. I sent them 3 texts asking them how I check in with no response. I later found 4 emails from them……

“I will NOT be using Expedia for further travel; due to the experience we had at this property. This property made it VERY clear that Expedia does not do any on-site Vetting, and if they do, they sure missed this one. The room we had was dirty, the bed felt like it should have been replaced a decade ago, so that made the bed sheets, (that didn't seem to be the correct size) VERY susceptible to coming off, wallpaper was coming off the wall, desk chair leather was cracked and brittle (needed to be……

“Like the free breakfast and all day hot coffee/chocolate. Like the large bathroom.”

“Room was beautiful. Dining was awful. Bland food and terrible service. Front desk was not knowledgeable about things to do in the area. Went on the onsite hike and trail was not well marked. Off duty employees said they hadn’t gotten around to the t yet. Very underwhelmed by the resort”
