For the first time being in Lake Tahoe, I had a great experience with Cottage Inn: The owner was very personable, kind and caring beyond and above just being business person! The cottage was like a fairy land, everything seemed unreal!!-Staff were very friendly, house made breakfast was amazing and so delicious, rooms were spotless and extremely clean, comfortable, you could find everything that you need in your room. Highly recommended and definitely I’ll be back soon! Thank you all Cottage Inn Staff and owner for making our stay very pleasant and unforgettable!!

The property is lovely, charming and well located, and staff helpful and friendly. Access to the private beach across the road is nice, and breakfast brought to the room everyday is very convenient. The room itself and amenities were somewhat lacking. Only only nightstand and no outlets for charging cellphones, etc. made things difficult - in 2026 everyone needs places to charge devices. Our bathroom was tiny (could not fully sit on toilet with door closed). Ok for short travelers like us, but it would be difficult for others. Luckily we had hanging toiletry bags bc sink/vanity are tiny. Ours was a small room with no dresser, making it crowded with multiple suitcases. With only one suitcase it would be ok. We would definitely stay again, but would choose a different room - or pack less ;).

What a great find..felt like we were in the woods and wild and yet able to walk to fabulous places to eat, walk and play. The Inn is charming and inviting and serves a winner breakfast..delivered right to your cabin!! Doesn't get much better. Thank you for wonderful stay!!

Beautiful property almost on the lake with private access. We had the cowboy romance room which is very spacious and comfortable. Great staff, breakfast delivered every morning to each cottage. Excellent deli and market right next to the property with amazing food and drinks. Restaurants nearby and tahoe city 5 min drive. All in all 10/10 property. Wish it was pet friendly. That’s the only downside.
