The hotel was very overpriced. The room and especially the elevator were dirty. The staircase needs repair. We had the bad luck to stay on two very hot nights, and we slept badly in our hot, stuffy room without A/C.. There were no services. The hair dryer did not work. The view was very nice. the towels were old and several had holes.The location is convenient.

I loved the convenience of walking distance to the park and the lake itself. The property itself was nice but the lack of cental ac in the middle of summer was not ideal and the little fan that was in the room was very loud. The room is decorated very cute but the room is on the small side. Another thing was the shower door didn't close completely, it stayed open about an inch unless something held it close.

It had a nice view of the lake from the sixth floor but there was no air conditioning and we were in the middle of a heat wave. Opening the windows helped a bit but the portable fan was not that effective and did not rotate. The shower stall door did not stay closed and they only supplied 3 towels for 4 people.

While the property is showing its age, and the pool was filled in, the room was very clean, the maid service impeccable, desk clerk was polite and friendly, disabled parking was easy for us, and the location was spectacular. We will definitely come to stay here again. 7th floor view was unbeatable.

Good location, reasonably comfortable room. They have fans instead of air conditioners which is usually not an issue in Tahoe City, but it was when we were there.

The property does not have air conditioning and I found this out when I checked in. There was a sign at the front desk stating this and that a fan was provided. The person checking me in was rude and the office was locked without anyone in it until the midafternoon. I do not recommend this hotel.
