February 1st, and snow is sparse in Tahoe. We parked at the Brockway Summit Parking, but crossed the road and headed up the mountain on Spur Trail. It was warm and quiet.

About a 2 mile hike up to the vista point, and the view was not disappointing! Gorgeous lake and the company of good friends.

“The virtual assistance at the front desk was extremely rude - stating she was super busy and will get to help us when she can. Our plug stopped working so microwave and toaster didn’t work. We had no internet thought the storm was over. No priorities and cleaners never came. Basically, it’s a fend do yourself type of place - good luck is anything happens someone will come help you. ”

“The place was very clean, full with everything you need to feel like you are home, quiet area, and very spacious. Only small thing that happened on our last full day of vacation was that the alarm went off at 10am in the morning and didn’t know who to call right away. There was no fire, and firefighters said it was prolly the food we cooked. ”

“Great property overall. However, we were very disappointed with the lack of prep of the condo on arrival. We assumed from the advertisement that it was a wood stove with option for having a fire. We did not know this was a gas fireplace and the only heat source. That would later prove just fine but on arrival the room was ice cold at 40 degrees. Beds were ice cold as well. After turning on the thermostat and setting to 75, we noticed it was taking about 10 mins to move up one degree. At……
