“We stayed here while attending a wedding at the nearby Trump Turnberry hotel. The hotel is a short 15-minute drive from Turnberry and right on the coast road with fantastic views. The hotel has an ample car park and spacious rooms. We found the rooms perfect for our 1-night stay. Included in the room rate are various cold breakfast items like cereals, croissaints, ham in the fridge, fruit yougarts, milk for making tea/coffee. I would not hesitate to recommend this superb hotel.”
“This was a great find for our party of 6 and in an excellent location in Girvan. The accommodation was wonderful with well furnished spacious rooms and the kitchen was well equipped. Lovely area for walking and for golf. The only slight negative were the mattresses which could have been firmer.”
“This is a room above a pub. It is the cleanest room I have ever stayed in. It is small but functional with a comfortable bed. The staff are excellent and extremely accommodating. Breakfast is free and so is the clean fresh air. Food is excellent and the place is pet friendly. Its about 35 mins to the ferry but worth the journey.”
“This castle is fabulous! For Americans it is like stepping into a Downton Abby set. The staff greet you at the door, take your luggage and from that moment forward treat you like royalty. Not only is this a gated property, but you need your sir name in order for the gate to open! Then the drive up the narrow road just enhances your excitement to see the castle.
John was great at showing us around and to our room. He was very helpful in understanding where everything was and how to get around.……
“We really enjoyed our stay. Apartment had all we needed. It was really spacious and beds were extremely comfortable. Showers were fantastic. Security was second to none as Donald Trump was staying next door the weekend we stayed! Was fun to watch his motorcade go by the end of the road. Even had drones flying over and reporters doing live broadcasts on the lawn on the front of the development. Will definitely be back but don’t think Donald will be here next time.”
“The property was very relaxing and our stay was enjoyable.
Unfortunatatly the property was looking rate tired.
The cooker was difficult to use and when it did work was not very effective.
The freezer needed defrosting
We could not use the dish waste as the washer tablet compartment would not stay closed.
With a little TLC with property would be excelent”
