The hotel room itself was clean, ill give them that. The pool area was a different story. We showed up at 9am to swim, when it opened. You could tell none had swept the area in over a week. I had to skim the pool myself due to the visible nats that were floating. I skimmed it though and let my kids swim. Another family had said they had to skim it the morning before due to the nats floating. There were so many dead bugs and debris infront of the emergency exit. The bathroom attached to the pool area was not well maintained either. Lots of dirt and just debris on the bathroom floor. There was also an incident where an alarm went off in the whole building at 7am. Fire alarm? I'm not sure. It startled me out of a dead sleep. It did shut off after 30 seconds. I did not inquire with the front desk about what happened.

The tall girl at the front desk was extremely rude , twice!! And even though it was 90 plus degrees out the pool was closed and did not do anything to compensate.

The gal at the desk was very helpful. The beds were clean and comfortable. The carpet was in need of being vacuumed. The sink didnt go down well. And the toliet wasnt cleaned properly. We stayed in better and worse places.

The first thing that struck us was the lack of an elevator. While only a two story hotel it was not very pleasant having to carry suitcases up the flights of stairs. There was a spider in the stairwell and the carpet looked tired. The pool was also not working.
