“The Gillen House is a perfect destination if you are looking for a relaxing and peaceful getaway that is close to Athens and not too far away from Atlanta. The hosts, Edward and Cynzia, were very welcoming and made us feel at home. The food at breakfast was excellent. Especially the steaks and sides that we had for dinner on our arrival evening. The room was spotless and perfect. We definitely enjoyed our stay!”

“It was very private and quiet and a secluded area. It was a clean, cute little place. Only thing that drove me crazy was the acorns that kept falling on the tin roof. Overall great stay!”

“The curtain in our room (#218) did not completely cover the windows and there were two flood lights directed at our room. We could not get the room to be dark at night which made for a restless sleep. Check in and breakfast were good and the property was somewhat clean. ”
