“This is a new hotel and everything was clean and neat. We had some trouble at check-in due to problems with the reservation and payment from Expedia. Not sure if it was a computer communication problem. The manager was able to straighten it out and the rest of our stay was fine.”

“We only stayed here one night, but I wish we could’ve stayed longer! We loved this lodge! It was very clean, welcoming, and very well maintained. The pool area was beautiful! You can walk out back and fish from the dock. You can also rent kayaks, boats, and jet skis! There is lots of seating outside too; cute swinging benches and a fire pit. We booked a king room with a lakeside view but when I got the receipt upon check-in, it said “street view” and they explained that with Expedia, the room……

“The Gillen House is a perfect destination if you are looking for a relaxing and peaceful getaway that is close to Athens and not too far away from Atlanta. The hosts, Edward and Cynzia, were very welcoming and made us feel at home. The food at breakfast was excellent. Especially the steaks and sides that we had for dinner on our arrival evening. The room was spotless and perfect. We definitely enjoyed our stay!”

“We really enjoyed our stay at The Rivet! The onsite restaurant was incredible and the staff were wonderful. The room was well appointed and the bed was so comfortable. If you’re a light sleeper request a room on the side of the hotel that is not next to the train tracks. Otherwise, I highly recommend it and would stay there again!”

Starting from the very easy pre-check in process all the way to the gorgeous rooms, every detail of the Kasa was creative, innovative, and of course, stunning. Between the free iced protein coffee beverages and water in the room refrigerator (plus snacks, like protein bars and chocolate!) to a fully, and I mean fully stocked lobby area with complimentary snacks and more drink options than most restaurants have,……
