Very nice rooms, great receptionist who helped with booking activities, clean pool, very close to downtown - we walked 15 minutes to dinner and drinks every night

Amazing, secluded, but convenient location with access to the only Moai and Ahu in Hanga Roa. Incredible sunset views, truly warm hospitality, and thoughtful touches made for a memorable and wonderful stay.
We had a great stay for 6 days in Tahai loft. The room is spacious, clean with the stunning ocean view. Since there is a air conditioning in the room, we always felt fresh and comfortable. We can see the sunset Moai directly through the balcony. The staffs were very friendly and helpful during our stay, we were able to get all basic kitchen supplies for cooking simple breakfast and small meals. Everything looks exactly same as the pictures.
It locates a bit away from downtown, but we all loved it since it is more quiet. It was around 20 mins to get to the restaurant area, so not too bad for us. If you are looking for some quiet, clean place with best view, I would highly recommend here.

Located only a 2 minute walk from the main publicly accessible statues, very convenient. If you want to eat at a restaurant you can walk along the beach into town past several dining options.
The only downside is the very occasional power cuts in the evening of a hotter day but they were usually only 15 minutes at a time when we were there end of December so manageable.

They charged $40 US per person to pick up at airport and also another $40 per person to take us to the airport. The hotel is outside of town and expensive for taxi to town. They entered our room without permission turned off the AC so we had hot room. Hotel staff was friendly and the room was clean.
Wonderful property: the room was so comfortable and spacious for our family of four. The walk into town is beautiful, right next to the best sunset viewing on the island. Valentina is an incredible host, offering great suggestions and assistance.
We had a great stay here with our family of four. The location is great - we loved being close to Ahu Tahai and the walk to town was enjoyable. All the staff were friendly and welcoming. Valentina was our host and she was fantastic with lots of great suggestions. The room was clean and comfortable. We appreciated being able to cook some meals and hear the ocean. I would definitely recommend staying here.

Quiet and new
After a long flight, having an airport greeting and pickup was welcomed. The property is beautiful and located near a couple of restaurants. We enjoyed our stay and would recommend this hotel. Thank-you to Maria and Caroline for a great hotel experience.

There are no amenities at all. No breakfast, no bar, no dinner, no help. Unfortunately, we had no dinner on Christmas Eve. Most restaurants closed, others fully booked. Staff couldn’t help and is gone after 3 pm.
That said, if you like to entirely self support, I agree the kitchenettes are cute (need to do your own grocery shopping though…that is, if you find a decent grocery store. Good luck!). Also, the place is very remote and there is no transportantion available to you.
The staff in general IS Very friendly. Not all of them are helpful or knowledgable though.
So in summary, the place is clearly NOT for people who need any kind of services.

Thanks to Tahai loft for helping here. Expedia well and truly cocked up our booking here. The loft folks took pity and organised a beautiful hotel with breakfast and transfer. Thank you so much. Shame on Expedia

Just wow!!
Wow!
Could not fault the property or the staff! Everything about the stay was perfect. Our host was just so lovely, felt like greeting an old friend when I got a hug at the airport pick up.
The rooms - what can I say? Just gorgeous. The beds were so comfy, the kitchen was clean, the bathroom was just what we need after a long day of exploring.
The pool and hot tub is such a nice extra as well! The speakers playing music in the evening in the sitting area as well really added to the perfect island vibe.
We were a group of 6 in our early twenties and this place was perfect. Would be ideal for couples or families as well.
If you need anything at all, the hosts cannot do enough. From booking tours, restaurants, to leaving beach towels and robes for use around the pool. I have travelled a fair amount and this is the first time I’ve been so impressed with a hotel and hosts that I have left such a rave review.
This has got to be the best place to stay on Easter Island

The host was the absolute sweetest. Super accommodating and fast to respond to any inquiry. Great customer service. The property is updated and the beads are great. The water doesn’t get super hot. From our lanai we could see the ocean and the maoi. I didn’t have any problems but our flights were messed up by the airline and I ended up arriving a day early and my companions a day late. Fortunately they were able to accommodate and she had everything ready again when the second wave arrived.

Not at all worth the very expensive price per night. Hare Nua Boutique in town is much better choice. This property is outside of the main town about 2km (too far to walk back at night so I didn’t catch any shows or try dinners in town). However it is very close walk to the Tahai moai which is great. The staff is very friendly and helpful as they can be. The disappointing parts were the walls were paper thin and I could hear anyone next to me on either side when they talked, walked or were in the bathroom. Also I missed my first night due to a canceled flight and they did nothing at all to help me or reimburse me for any lost money.

The hotel is a hidden gem. Even with GPS, you're not sure you're driving in the right direction. However, when you arrive, you're pleasantly surprised at the new appearance of the hotel. The room was large, with a balcony that looked out on the ocean. Bathroom was roomy and a/c excellent. The disappointing issues were a lot of steps to get to our room, which would prevent anyone who has difficulty walking from staying there, and the lack of a restaurant and/or bar. However, there are many excellent restaurants only minutes away from the hotel. Overall, a ture "diamond in the rough".

I recently had an incredible stay at a loft that exceeded all my expectations!
The fully equipped kitchen allowed me to prepare all kinds of meals, which was a real treat. The staff was exceptionally friendly and welcoming, picking me up from the airport and always being available to assist with anything I needed
The beds were incredibly comfortable, and the bathrooms were very spacious, making it easy to relax after a long day of exploring. The beautiful decor added a special touch to the ambiance, making the space feel cozy and inviting
During my stay, I also had the pleasure of joining some professional tours and renting a buggy from a local company. We even scheduled a show that added to the fun of the experience. One of the highlights was watching the spectacular sunsets, with breathtaking views of the moais right from the loft!
Overall, my experience was truly wonderful, and I highly recommend this loft to anyone looking for a memorable getaway!!

Wonderful experience. Staff was helpful with all of our requests.
Wonderful hotel with excellent sunset views of the Moai and the ocean. Super friendly staff, great service and well maintained property. Loved my room. Some have mentioned that it is a bit outside the town centre, but I didn’t find it onerous. It’s a scenic 15 minute walk past a beautiful Moai cluster at Ahu Tahai. My new go-to place on Rapa Nui!
Property communicated well and set us up with the best tour guide. Rooms have full kitchens and everything is very nice. Shirt walk to multiple restaurants and multiple Easter Island heads!

The excursions that were booked through the hotel were not entered in their system and we scrambled to rebook these.
The AC in the room did not work well and therefore the room was hot.
You need a taxi or rent a car to get around to the city and to most of the restaurants.
The staff was very inexperienced and the gate opener we received was out of batteries and couldn’t open the gate… no one in the hotel answered our phone..
Please note that there is no food or drinks in the hotel and the closest breakfast is 25 min walk from the hotel
Overall not the best experience for us.

Overpriced non transparent
We were sold saying cold breakfast is included. But this place does not even provide a glass of water :( and forget any early checkin or late checkout. Also they overcharge for airport transfer. It’s better to stay somewhere else

We had reserved a Suzuki Jimny 4x4 well in advance, but on arrival were sent a last-minute photo of a completely different vehicle. Instead, we were given a downgraded semi-automatic car — not a 4x4 and not suitable for the island’s terrain — and told it would be provided “at the same price.” Given that 4x4 vehicles are significantly more expensive than standard cars, it felt unfair to be charged the same rate for a downgraded vehicle that did not match our confirmed booking.
The room lacked privacy, with the hot tub positioned directly outside our room. This made it difficult to relax comfortably, as there was little separation between private space and shared areas.
Staff are not knowledgable.
Communication around housekeeping was also very poor. For the first three days, I repeatedly asked when our room would be cleaned, but staff were unable to clearly explain what the housekeeping service involved or when it would take place. On one occasion, a staff member simply dropped off towels without cleaning. Using Google Translate, I explained that we would be leaving in five minutes so the room could be serviced as expected. However, we were later accused of saying we did not want housekeeping at all, which was simply untrue. This was another uncomfortable accusation and again reflected a lack of coordination and clarity between staff.
