Not having the Hot Tub open was a downer. It's one of the reasons I stay often at H2S locations. Also, please consider milk alternatives for those who are lactose intolerant. Most other hotels offer either Soy, Almond, or Oatmilk.

The first room that they assigned me smelled of VERY heavy cigarette smoke like someone was chain smoking for a month. I literally thought i was in the smoking section of the building because I smelled it in the hallway before i opened the door. The staff was very polite and promptly changed our room . I could tell that someone had previously smoked in this room as well but it was very clean and since i was only staying for one night it was ok. I am surprised because the property is listed as a "none smoking property " The other disappointment was that the pool is closed and the outdoor firepit was covered, and has been since the pandemic. It really Irks me when a business continues to use the 3 year old pandemic as an excuse to skimp on services. Otherwise, the building was very clean and the staff was pleasant and the free breakfast was a 10

The hotel was clean, minutes from NYC, the staff was friendly. The room was big, the beds were clean and comfortable. The hotel was as shown in the pictures, we liked it and will definitely stay there in our next trip to NYC.
