Wij hadden een zeer prettig verblijf in Ferienhaus Paula. Het was een ruim en schoon huis, met genoeg faciliteiten voor een fijn verblijf. Genoeg extra beddengoed, keukenspullen, etc. De tuin is heerlijk en het was fijn dat we ook een barbecue konden gebruiken! Onze Hostess Marlene was goed bereikbaar voor vragen en ging ook zelf na of alles in orde was. In het huis zijn ook spullen voor jonge kinderen (bedje, kinderstoel), de overige inrichting is niet echt kindvriendelijk (geen traphekje, extra trapje in de gang, tafel met hoeken, etc). Voor ons geen probleem, maar goed om te weten wellicht. De directe omgeving is rustig, wat verderop zijn wel genoeg dingen te zien/doen. Een aanrader voor mensen met kinderen is de knikkerbaan in Zilshausen! Na verblijf had ik een vraag aan Belvilla, helaas was de klantenservice daarin niet zo best. Het was moeilijk te achterhalen waar ik mijn vraag in kon dienen en de 'Live Agent' (chatbot?) was niet erg behulpzaam. Het was dan ook een teleurstelling toen we aankwamen en zagen dat die wel een heel rooskleurig beeld gaven. Het 'terras' ligt niet zo vrij als het er uit ziet, er staan altijd 2 foto's geparkeerd: die van de eigenaresse en die van jezelf. Bovendien zijn we afgegaan op de privetuin en er is GEEN tuin. Achter de 110 jaar oude boerderij was een tuin, daar staat nu het nieuwe huis van de eigenaars. De tuin is achter hun huis, dus zeker niet PRIVE. Je moet eerst een trapje af, over het parkeerterrein-terras, voor hun huis langs en dan is er een tuin waar je gebruik van mag maken. Kortom, geen tuin. Er is nog een zitje met relaxbanken, deze staat achter de schuur van het oude huis en de trap aan de voorkant van het nieuwe huis ingeklemd. Het uitzicht aan de voorkant vanuit de keuken-eetkamer is een soort autokerkhof. En ga er niet heen als je bang bent voor muizen! Als ze denken dat je er niet bent, dan trippelen ze onder je door in de keuken, onder de tafel. Daar heeft de eigenaresse wel wat aan gedaan, namelijk vallen gezet. Wegen Corona mussten wir Portugal durch den Hunsrück eintauschen. Und wir waren Überrascht wie viel diese Gegend zu bieten hat. Schöne Städt wie Trier in der Nähe, Wanderwege und die Hängeseilbrücke sind sehr schön. Das Haus liegt gut und ist vom Preis-Leistung wohl kaum zu schlagen. Absolute Empfehlung! ##### Florian S. Das Haus und der Ort selbst sind ruhig gelegen. Alles sauber, die Gastgeberin nett und zuvorkommend. Die Einrichtung ist komplett und auf dem Stand der Zeit. Das Haus selbst ist älteren Jahrgangs und die Treppen knarzen leicht, uns hat das nicht gestört. P.S.: Einen Ausflug in die Baybach- und Ehrbachklamm können wir wirklich empfehlen, sehr schöner Erlebnis- und Naturerfahrungswert, etwas Kondition und Trittsicherheit voraussgesetzt. ##### Ariane S.
