"The owner reached out to me as soon as I made my reservation. I was able to text him with questions before and after our arrival. The staff greeted us and made sure we were comfortable for the evening. My kids loved that we were staying in a "castle". The experience is very different from staying in a traditional hotel. "Pro: Very well located. About 20 meters from the beach. The place and room were as advertised. The next door restaurants (both) are really nice and their owners make you feel like family. Con: breakfast wasn’t included (yet the listing said it was) and the parking facilities left much to be desired. In fact discovered someone gifted me with a fender bender / hit and run while parked there."

"This is a lovely little retreat with a communal feel. Owners are very friendly and helpful. There are two guest houses, each with several bedrooms, a kitchen, and a living/dining area. "We arrive late, they could not find our reserve, the bed was smaller than reserved. There was not drinking water in the room (they provided later after claim it). The watchman was always with a gun (I really don't like this). There was not water in the bathroom in the morning."
