“We arrived and there was no one at reception. It looked as if the place had been abandoned. There was a message on the desk to ring a number for service and after two attempts the call went to voicemail. My partner made another attempt to get a reply from that number. We received instructions on how to find our room which we eventually did. The room was ok but there was no wifi, neither of the bed lamps worked. The bar and restaurant were closed and we did not see any staff during our stay....

“First time there … was excellent location and great service :)”

“The staff are so welcoming and friendly. The continental breakfast is fresh and plentiful”

“Proximity to beach and pub”

“It was tricky to find where to check-in as the accommodation is right next to the bar next door. Don't go to the wrong one! Accommodation itself is a bit tired but does the job. Some features of the room were better than higher priced options e.g place to put your bag which is not the floor :) Dinner was excellent! Highly recommend. I would stay here again due to proximity to the excellent food option.”

“Nothing to complain!”

“A nice room to stay in for work”

“Great location and comfortable rooms”

“Walking distance to inner city and major shopping centre. Good off-street securing parking provided which also suited taller vehicles. Room was clean and tidy with good views. Reception staff friendly and helpful with any of my questions.”

“The housekeepers were great and super kind. The FOH staff were NOT. Room was OK- No Smart TV as I have had in previous occasions and 2 cockroaches in the room (I guess its the season for it).”

“They put us in the wrong room. We paid for a larger room but only in the morning did the receptionist advise us of her mistake. The room was comfortable and clean but I did slice my finger quite deeply on a broken tile around where a new shower head was installed. It was like a razor and needs to be fixed. We should also get a refund of the difference between the room I booked and the standard roomI received. It is quiet, bed is comfortable and the air-conditioning works well.”

“I'm amazed at the ratings people have given this motel. The room was down a brick corridor and smelt mouldy. I'm glad I was only staying overnight. I'm not sure it was that reasonably priced but it was close to town.”

“Huge room located across the road in the secondary building! Lovely and clean and staff all wonderful. Thank you for a lovely stay!”

“Could provide containers suitable to cook in the microwave.”
