Buckhead Lodge - Tri-Level Cabin with Mountain Views

This warm and cozy wood cabin is located on a private paved road with 3 acres of land and 1-1/2 more acres across the road. The mountain views can be enjoyed from either of the two decks or from the brand new hot tub located on the covered patio.

Buckhead Lodge provides a fully equipped kitchen with a dishwasher, waffle iron, microwave, toaster, blender and coffee maker. Just bring the groceries!

This luxury cabin also boasts of a beautiful gas log fireplace, a Smart TV, hot tub and a pool table. Take a trip back in time with the Packman arcade game in the billiard room. It contains 5 other favorite games!

The bedrooms are located on the top level. The master bedroom features a king bed and the guest bedroom a queen. The full bath is shared by both bedrooms. For additional guests, the sofa in the downstairs game room pulls out to a queen size bed.

Outside you will find a a brand new hot tub, gas grill, rocking chairs, fire-pit, and swings. All from which you can behold incredible views of the North Georgia Mountains. If you choose to venture out from your cabin, the quaint Bavarian-style town of Helen is just 10 minutes away.

• Minimum Age Requirement: Buckhead Lodge is available to families or to guests 21 years and older.
• Parking: Space is available for 3 vehicles.
• Access: The road is paved up to the dirt and gravel driveway.
• Pets: Buckhead Lodge is Not pet-friendly. No pets allowed.

Perfect weekend getaway

The cabin was exactly what we wanted with the gorgeous views, deer everywhere, hot tub, pool table … it was perfect! Our only regret was that we couldn’t stay longer. We will definitely be back

Cozy Cabin

Rodent Infestation Never Addressed

Stayed for 4 nights. We saw mice in the cabin 4 separate instances. Contacted the office the next day, they changed the sheets the second day, then never returned our calls or set any traps to remove the infestation. Images below are all the droppings found around the cabin. We had a toddler crawling on the floors with all the droppings. Mice were seen on 2 different floors.The cabin itself was nice and location very good. Aside from the lack of response and mice, we liked the cabin. However, I would not return and cannot recommend. I can understand this can happen in a cabin, but being left without correction was not expected.

The views are amazing from the bedroom all the down to the game room loved it, this a great place to relax enjoy the peaceful sounds of nature and sit in the hottub and enjoy life while sipping on some wine.

Lots of wildlife

Very clean and good location. Very convenient to Helen and other attractions. We really enjoyed seeing the deer in the backyard. They showed up every evening and morning. Also pretty sure we heard a pack of coyotes howling. Great time of year as nothing was crowded and they were decorating for Christmas.

Helen was a quick 15-20 minute drive. We enjoyed relaxing in the hot tub at night. The view was beautiful, and the house was clean. You can tell the cabin has been well taken care of. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This cabin is large but cozy. The fireplace on the main floor is a great centerpiece for the whole thing. You'll find temperature control a little challenging in the space, but fortunately multiple heat sources are available to help maintain a comfortable temperature in each floor. The location is 15 minutes from Helen, Yonah mountain, and a lot of other attractions. The road in is steep but well maintained, and the parking setup works good for one larger vehicle or two smaller ones. The only real downside to this cabin is the beds - the mattresses are basically all soft foam that you'll sink into. This works fine for kids, but if you're used to a firmer mattress you may need to make adjustments in order to sleep well. GA Mountain Rentals is a good company to rent from, always responsive.

Amazing views

The only complaint we had were the beds, need a better pullout couch and most of my family couldn’t sleep on the memory foam mattresses. Guess that is an individual preference. The cabin was beautiful and the property was so very peaceful. We saw more deer in the few days we stayed than we have ever seen in Florida. They come right to the backyard to hang out. The views from the porches are amazing. Some recommendations would be to provide some coffees filters which we brought anyhow, but would add some convenience and the upstairs tub drain wasn’t able to stop the water to take a bath, but the downstairs was fine. I would also recommend more comfortable mattresses although some people like memory foam we don’t as well as a more supportive couch. If not for those few items I would definitely have given an overall 5 stars. Management checked up on us while we were there, great communication, felt if i needed anything they would be available. Will definitely rent again in the future, but a place with different beds. Overall a great experience with this Georgia Mountain rentals. Thanks

Great Amenities

Beautiful scenery from three deck levels. YouTube TV was provided free. The hot tub is practically new. The pool table was a great source of entertainment. There are plentiful books to satisfy a variety of interests. The in-cabin washer/dryer was very convenient. They even provided soaps for kitchen, laundry, and baths. The folks at Georgia Mountain Rentals were very responsive and helpful. This was our second time staying at this cabin. We had a great time!
