“Its a sound enough hotel for the business traveler but otherwise pretty ordinary. It's in a shabby part of town with no local ameities or attractions worth the bother. The bar is dismal and the restaurant poor. The staff do a good job of making the best of the little they have to wotk with.”

“Excellent modern property! A delight to stay here….excellent views of the ocean too. And walking distance to almost everything. The drop off/ pick up arrangements are weird with multiple levels of lobbies but that is the architect’s fault….not the hotel’s. We will definitely be back”

“Good customer service”

“This is my very first stay at this hotel & I was told it's under a new ownership for the last 6-7 years. The Front Desk & the Housekeeping crew were very friendly, courteous & attentive. “we stayed 3 nights in room 11. it s a small guest house with basic but comfortable rooms . good location walking distance from gangaramaya temple, good breakfast , excellent dinner and extremely kind and helpfull staff. only con: the tuk tuk guy who waits just off the hotel gate . he asks double or triple price for every trip you might be interested in. just ignore him and walk 3 minutes to the main road where metered tuk are available”

“A comfortable hotel for short stay. Staff very helpful and room very clean though a bit small. Breakfast was good. Their laundry service is excellent and cheap. It's a bit far from the main area of Colombo but transport is easily available.”

“Good”

“Would recommend. Good location. Nice and quiet area. Room was very clean. Nice hotel overall”

“I have travelled the World extensively, and this property is possibly my favourite of any I have stayed in. It maintains old world colonial character and charm, with its very high standards, excellent staff, and wonderfully relaxed atmosphere. We stayed 8 years ago and have been planning g a return since. We are however devastated to hear that the hotel will close at the end of its current lease in August 2027, so this was likely to be our last ever visit.”
