This property is close to the station. The room was clean but it was so small. The AC did not work properly and the window did not even budge open. Checkin and out by computer so very easy. The spa/bath facility is a wonderful touch. I liked their pillows- one for back sleeper and another for a side sleeper. They were both nicely molded and super soft. They are APA’s original items and well designed.

Efficient check-in process, facilities/amenities are thoughtful and useful. My highlight was the public bath for guests to use. So relaxing after a long day of sightseeing. Great location near the main Hiroshima station and great value. I would stay here again if in Hiroshima.

APA Hiroshima is about a 10 minute walk from the station, most of which can be done in the underground plaza keeping you out of the weather. The room was completely adequate, and the bed was comfortable. For the taller traveler, the sheets provided left my feet a bit cold, but I booked a double room specifically to let me lay diagonally to avoid this, as most Japanese hotels are like that. APA hotels have the advantage of being a national group, with consistency between locations you wont get from smaller hotels. You can check in from an automated kiosk with your passport, and check out with an automated card drop, minimising the need to interact with staff. When you do speak to the staff, they are friendly and helpful.
