The Knot was amazing! After a week of staying in tiny hotel rooms throughout Tokyo, Kyoto and Osaka, our king sized room was bigger and nicer than anything we’ve ever stayed in. Whilst the king sized bed was large, it was still pretty firm, as were the pillows. This seems typical of Japanese hotel beds though. Free secure wifi at the hotel but no English TV channels or streaming services, so I’d recommend bringing a Chromecast. The hotel is in a great location - walking distance to the main sights of the Peace Memorial Park & Museum and A-Bomb Dome, etc. Also walkable to the main shopping area and Okonomimura too. It’s a fair distance from the train station but there are bus and tram stops out the front of the hotel for transit. It’s a busy-ish area of the CBD but our room was very quiet. Check in was strangely on the 14th floor at their cocktail bar (with adjoining rooftop terrace) - a beautiful bar (and they give you complimentary drinks/snacks during “Knot” hour). Their Italian restaurant on the ground floor looked amazing too but we didn’t dine there. Would definitely stay at The Knot again - great value for money. Great location for sightseeing, shopping and dining. Clean and quiet and spacious.
