"Herzlicher Empfang, gutes Objekt on einem liebevoll gestalteten, alten Häuschen. Einziger Kritikpunkt wäre die vielleicht zu zweit etwas unbequeme Matratze (persönliche Vorlieben können ja abweichen). Der Blick und die Terrasse sind wirklich toll! Parken vor dem Haus ist möglich, die Nachbarn sind sehr nett, Geschäfte, Bars etc. zwischen drei und 10 Minuten mit dem Auto entfernt. The house was laid out in a way where we each slept well in separate bedrooms, but could lounge in the front room. The outdoor patio had a fantstic view! "We were only on Faial for three days but this house and our host made us wish we had booked a full week. The location is removed from the traffic of town, but close enough to walk into town numerous times per day (if you are up to a modest hill climb). A clean house with a great view of the harbour. "This is a lovely house, very conveniently located for easy access to Horta and the airport and with beautiful views across to Pico. Paula was very helpful with directions and the checking in process and had also kindly left us a few essentials. The house has everything that you could need and there is a substantial outdoor space at the back. We only wish that we could have stayed longer."

Myself, my sister, daughter and son in law had plenty of space, 3 separate bedrooms, 3 separate bathrooms, fully stocked kitchen and a store around the corner for supplies. Wonderful outdoor space. Gated property. Communication with Zelda was a breeze. She was very helpful explaining how appliances worked and places to explore. We loved our stay!!!! Thank you!!!"

"Loved the house,loved the location. Miguel was quick to address any questions we had. My only criticism is that there was no comfortable place to sit. We encountered terrible downpours and were confined to the house for an afternoon. There was no sofa or even a comfortable chair to sit and read a book. However, saying that, I would not dissuade you from staying in this lovely home."

"Casa Rosa (the Pink House) was the perfect spot for our 5 days on Pico for our group of three couples. The owner, Manuel, speaks English fluently and is extremely helpful. He, and his brother- and sister-in-law, who live next door, were very responsive to any issues we had, including coming over at 11 pm to restore power lost during a storm, and responding within a few minutes when one of our party got locked in a bathroom! And, after all their help THEY gave US a bottle of wine for our trouble!...

"Casa de Ferreiro is an incredible property, quietly nestled on wonderful Pico Island. You can easily access the entire island from this location, though it is tempting to just relax on the incredible balcony. Great bathrooms, water pressure and check in process as well."
