we had a nice time nice rooms and staff. we stay in hotels everyweekend due to husbands job being on road. we would love to stay here alot but we only can when price is under 100.00 per nite

Convenient location on the Jericho Turnpike.

Pros: Convenient location
Cons: Larger parking area needed because there isn't enough room to back out of your parking stalls.
Good location as long as you aren't the other side which is right on the Jericho Turnpike. Would fear for my life if someone jumped the curb while on Jericho Turnpike. Had to switch rooms because the other wall air conditioner wasn't adequately/ cooling/blowing. Room is a little on the small side

Best when all you need is a good place to sleep.

This facility provides a basic, quality hotel room. It's not a resort. No frills, and spoiled travelers might consider the place as "sparse". Staff was very accommodating and engaging. Parking is a little tight, and you can't park directly outside every room. No complaints, though. We checked out one of the suites, and would consider upgrading for the additional space, for a return visit to this area.

Cons: The rooms really need refrigerators, especially if one stays for several nights.
Hotel is well located to shops, restaurants, close to parkways, within reasonable proximity to beaches.

Didn't like being repeatedly questioned with a condescending tone about my reservation by two people at the front desk while they tried for more than 15 minutes to find my paperwork at check in. Turned out that after they called and verified my reservation with Expedia they admitted that their fax had been down for more than 24 hours and that THEY were responsible for the lost reservation paperwork. Of course they didn't apologize. Didn't like being awakened at 12:30 AM by the same women from the front desk talking loudly with her boyfriend in the parking lot just outside my room for 30 minutes.

People were nice; room was meh.

Would probably not stay here again. Room was right by the road so you fall asleep to the sound of cars speeding across uneven pavement. If you stay here, ask for a room that is not right in front. Our particular room was clean in the standard way but dirty in the overall sense. Towels, countertops, bed--- all adequately cleaned. However there were drippy grease stains down several of the walls and we had to wear flip flops when traversing the carpet since it had some weird sort of chemical(?) residue on it that made your feet feel strangly dry. The curtains had some holes in it so the light came through in the morning, and the bedside light wouldn't stay plugged in since it was ripped out of the wall so many times. The soap samples were for Best Western Use only. (This was not a best western). Breakfast was fast but not fresh and carb only options.... everything individually plastic wrapped. Lodge staff were friendly enough. No smoking signs in the rooms but not really a place for smokers to sit or stand outside. Overall disappointed in the money spent- it just felt like a place that was struggling to keep it together. Maybe the other rooms were nicer but ours most def was not very nice and spoiled our getaway a bit. If we had stayed more than a night, I would have asked for another room.
