Family-friendly vacation home in Morgantown
Come and enjoy a getaway from the busy world to a quiet home in the woods. You can enjoy the large gathering room overlooking a beautiful pond that is surrounded by trees. Take a ride on the paddle boat and throw your fishing line in to catch catfish, bluegill, and wide mouth bass. Eleven acres of trails make for a nice nature walk. In the cold , you can enjoy your cup of coffee by the fireplace that's in the large room we call, The sanctuary. In the hot summers you will be able to go swimming in the pond. If you enjoy kayaking, we have a kayak you can take out and experience a relaxing time on the water. This is not just a vacation home but it is a vacation destination. This is a getaway for any seasons. The Brown County fall season is something everyone should experience and this the perfect property to take it all in.

Guests will enjoy staying at our place The Sanctuary. We have a beautiful house where each bedroom has its own bathroom. The gathering space is a great place to relax, look out the windows and door by the fire. Take your drinks outside to the large porch and deck. You can sit in a rocking chair or have dinner on the large table on the porch. We live close to a Dollar General. Nashville is a 10 minute drive and is full of shopping, eating and exploring.
Air-conditioned accommodations at this vacation home offer fireplaces and DVD players. Rooms open to balconies or patios. Kitchens offer refrigerators, stovetops, microwaves, and cookware/dishes/utensils. Additionally, rooms include coffee/tea makers and hair dryers. Cribs/infant beds are also available.

Great Stay
Stayed March 2023. Property just as advertised, super clean, and lots of much appreciated technology for a remote area (Direct TV satellite + more, great wifi). Felt recently updated/renovated/addition. Very large - could easily accommodate a large 5-7 person family or 2-3 couples, though we enjoyed the extra space just for the 2 of us and our dog! Would highly recommend and stay again.

Amazing, Relaxing Weekend
Four friends and I decided that we needed a girls weekend and this home was the perfect place for it. With a ton of bedrooms and seating options at both the table and in the living room, we were able to hang out in comfort the whole weekend. The house was immaculate and the kitchen was well stocked allowing us to cook dinner and breakfast. We decided that this would become an annual tradition and we look forward to coming back again next year.

We really enjoyed our Christmas here. There was plenty of room and very clean. The hosts communicated with us when the weather took a turn for the worse. The property is beautiful and we can’t wait to come visit in the summer !

Family wedding weekend
We rented this space for our sons wedding. We have had some surprises with VRBO and The Sanctuary did not disappoint. Very very clean spacious and comfortable. Our grandkids are begging to revisit in the summer. Location is also awesome just a few miles north of Nashville IN. Josh & Mary thank you for maintaining such a beautiful home for others to enjoy.
