When we arrived which we drove from Terre Haute from a funeral of our father's, we were exhausted. We wanted to just chill before early flight back to New Orleans. So the desk clerk was frazzled, complained that the owner was constantly calling her. We got our key, went up stairs to our room. On our way the hotel is hot. Not much air to cool off, once we got to our room the room was 95 degrees. We turned on the air. We were putting my diabetic meds in fridge, it didn't work and no control on inside of fridge. Well we left to cool off in our car for two hours and to get ice for my meds. Told the red headed lady that was at the desk. All she could say was I'm sorry. Told her I was going to get ice for my meds. Not one time was there an offer to use fridge down stairs or switch us to a cooler room. The room only cooled to 89 degrees over night so it was a miserable sleep before having a super early flight back home. I told the same lady again about our horrible stay and she said that I could of used their fridge for my meds when we checked out. Why didn't she suggest that when we went to cool off. We did get ice and put it in the trash can for my meds and drinks when I got back home I called the manager she answered the phone saying she was calling the cops and they were on their way. I said wow what's up. She did not give her name or that she was manager. She assumed I was another customer. I told her what was going on, then she got ugly with me. No refun

The cleanliness was poor. Our carpet in our room had not been vacuumed. The bathroom mirror and sink was dirty. Makes you wonder about the rest of the housekeeping efforts. Not likely to stay at this hotel again.

Nice room, but noisy. Outside noise and no insulation in walls so heard the kids across the hall banging doors and screaming late at night and early in the morning. Fine for 1 night, but wouldn’t want to stay much longer. The staff was incredible helpful and nice! We rode the shuttle to the airport and Joe was excellent. Very personable and courteous.

This property seemed to be managed by one person only, which makes the future for the hotel questionable. Towels were hard to get and it would have been nice if a vacuum could have been ran to sweep up the crumbs.

Hotel needs some upgrade/renovation, better cleaning and lighting (quite dim) and carpet (visibly old and worn) and walls/trims (peeling off). Bathroom and faucets needs attention (visible limescale and glue spots) and tv controls was not working too.
