"I absolutely love this place. I come down here all the time. I see what their current review is and it does not match what I have experienced. It’s right near the water. The beach is really nice there and there’s a little outdoor bar that’s pretty cool. Have an indoor bar and restaurant as well. I haven’t eaten at the restaurant, but it seems like a nice place to eat. Just haven’t done it yet. The rooms are always nice and clean and comfortable and the staff is always friendly and attentive. I gave this place near a 10. The only thing is is that the place doesn’t need a little remodeling. But it’s all minor stuff. I would say the elevators are a little small for the size of hotel. But other than that, that’s it. I will always stay here when I come down the North Padre."

"Room was spacious. Staff was pleasant. Coffee was great. Hairs in the tub, however, and on the tub walls. Pillows did NOT smell fresh; probably using pillows someone else slept on already. Gross. Couldn't sleep because it was so humid in the room. Air conditioner sucked. I will not stay here again. 4 stars is being generous."

"Clean, comfortable rooms. Check in was a breeze and the desk staff, (should have asked for her name) superb. I’d booked 2 rooms, but these were on separate floors. She ensured our family stayed together by not only getting us on the same floor, but with adjacent rooms."

"This appears to be an older property and is due some catch-up maintenance. It sets next to a major highway and is very noise! Very noise!!"
