“The first room was not a safe environment for us. The balcony had no privacy someone could inter our balcony just by stepping over the railing there was nothing preventing it.There were cords hanging due to the hotel being under outside renovations.The front desk moved us up to the first floors with the exceptions of being moved to a lower floor the next day due to my vertigo which was explained before arrival requesting a lower floor.So we moved to a lower floor rm 518 on Monday evening the 8th……

“The property continues to be well maintained. However, the hotel beed to pay closes attention to the room maintenance before they lose control, the bedding for example the bed protectors should be replaced. Its creating a lumpy feel in the mattress. The cabana rental is misleading, due to lack of resources to provide service to the cabana renters. The sales people harass you daily and in the early morning hours with constant calls, which is annoying while trying to enjoy your vacation.”

“We stayed here for Myrtle Beach bike week and we would definitely stay again. It was very nice well maintained and comfortable in the staff was amazing.”

“We had a late check in around 10pm, the staff is so friendly once we walked in the hotel. This Hampton has rated the best Hampton in the nation for the past 5 years and I totally agree with the rating. The room is clean and big, the morning breakfast area is very comfortable (the food are ok). Basically it's a great hotel. The only 2 downsides are: (1) sound proof not too good (2) the pool is really tiny But it is a great stay, except for the price is a little high (we paide US$220 per night)”

The reason for 3 stars is I was sold a “partial ocean view room” and I got a frosted glass slider, bolted shut, overlooking the buildings HVAC systems. I could have booked 15,000 rooms at a beachfront on the grandstand but opted for quieter and off the strip in MB. Even the front desk staff said my reservation was extremely misleading. They didn’t have another room to offer due to……
