"My wife and I had the absolute pleasure of a one-night stay at La Maison de Ville (August 2, 2025).
The accommodation in a century home was outstanding. Our room was one of four on the second floor. It was very clean, quiet and comfortable, with an ensuite bathroom. There was a shared lounge area with television, Nespresso machine, toaster oven, fridge and balcony. Breakfast was fantastic. We started with a baked pear topped with apples, greens, sunflower and poppy seeds, and cream over caramel. That was followed by grilled eggplant, zucchini, another type of squash, poached egg, sunflower seeds and greens over toast. Coffee and the orange/pineapple juice were great. Presentation of the breakfast was first class. I appreciate the fact that Simon sources locally grown produce and goods.
The location was perfect. It was one block from the lively restaurants and shops on rue Principale. Pointe-Merry Park and the lake were minutes away. Parking was free.
Simon, the owner, was an outstanding host. Upon checking in, he asked if we had any dietary allergies. He offered suggestions about what we could see and do during our stay. During breakfast he explained the dishes that were served, and also took time to detail the extensive renovations and history of his 20 year ownership of this fabulous bed and breakfast. It was obvious that Simon is a trained chef.
Our only regret was that we only stayed just one night. We will definitely return. Thank you, Simon.

"Was clean friendly staff. Great lac just across street with rental summer equipments at low cost .. dogs can stay at low coast too. Our dog loved the lac near by. Definitely would come back. Like that have spa also section "

"Exactly as advertised.. great location and property to relax and unwind in nature. We used the fire pit and Jacuzzi after hiking the nearby trails, playing at local golf courses, and hanging out on Lake Magog. There is so much to do in the area you could easily spend all day away, or on a rainy day you can comfortably cook and hang out at the property. Would recommend!"

Points négatif : L'air climatisé était bruyant et il y avait un bruit constant dans les murs et on ne sait pas c'était quoi. Dans le bain, il devrait y avoir un tapis car c'était glissant. La porte de la salle de bain était coincée, donc c'était difficile à ouvrir et ça faisait beaucoup de bruit. "

Room is clean, functional and quiet. It is extremely basic but for the price it’s great. The place is walking distance to the grocery store, restaurants and the boardwalk along the water. I appreciated that I could use the kitchen plus store ice packs for my cooler in a freezer."
