"The room was really spacious and well equipped with a kettle, armchair, TV and tea and coffee. We slept well and there was plenty of space for us both and our two dogs. It was also great value for money, especially as a delicious and generous breakfast was included. Staff were really helpful and friendly. Would recommend and would stay again!"
"A beautiful idealic farmhouse nestled in the countryside with picturesque views and ample scenic walks.
Upon arrival the hosts were very welcoming and made it feel less of a bed and breakfast and more like visiting friends.
It was clear to see the owners take great pride in their house as walking through to my room it was very clean and well presented.
The room was just as advertised and much like the rest of the property well presented and clean. Amenities were plenty and top ups were readily available.
I honestly haven't slept as well as I did in a very long time. Once the lights were turned off there was no light pollution and it was deafly quite par the odd hoot of an owl which was a welcome change from the city scene I'm used to.
Unfortunately I wasn't able to experience breakfast due to early arrangements, however I did view the breakfast room which looked very well presented.
A front door key was provided along with my room key which made coming and going much more relaxed and just added to the homely feel.
Overall I'd highly recommend this establishment would say this is must stay if you ever find yourself visiting the area."
"The staff were amazing and the property is beautiful and right next to the ruins for exploring! Wonderful stay and wish we had more time to spend in the borders!!"
"Friendly staff, had room 4 over looking the river and gardens, big bathroom. Good breakfast plenty of it. Close to the centre of town but in a quiet location. Would stop a few days next time."

"Everything about the hotel room food and spa were brilliant. My only problem was that we could not check into restaurant for evening meal, even though we checked in at 3pm"
