You may ask for the rooms with a magnificent view of sakurajima, but not a chance for solo travelers. The rest is totally fine, except the location is a bit far from the JR station, yet you can still go to downtown by bus (around 200 yen)
Pretty much went for best price for my entire trip, so it was a good deal. Turns out, not even 10 min walk from bullet train station! Nice and clean. Offer breakfast(900¥), free Udon soup at 22:00 and great restaurants all around. Would stay again.
The view of Sakurajima from the room was spectacular! We could see the age of the hotel but very clean. The restaurant on top floor was very formal that made us uncomfortable with jeans and shirt travel clothes, but the staff were very nice. The hot spring public bath was very nice overlooking Sakurajima ...
1-2 mins walk to Tenmonkan, lots of dining places around with good quality. Staff are helpful and polite.
The hotel located in the Main Street which close to the shopping area, very convenient. The room is relatively big in comparing to other hotels in Japan. Room is very clean and tidy. The staff are very friendly and helpful. Overall it's very good.
Good location, near Kagoshima JR Station and bus terminal. Lots of good eateries nearby. Within walking distance to Meiji Restoration Museum. Hotel room is compact but clean and tidy.
Very well located. Very friendly staff and helpful. Hotel is located in the heart of Kagoshima with parking facilities at 1000 yen per night. Japanese and Western buffet breakfast with good choice of food.
