Pros: convenience.
Cons: towels are not absorbent. Look good but not good quality. better amenities in the bathroom
The hotel was fine except they cleaning staff did just an ok job. They came very late and left dirty glasses, etc. in the room. The bathroom amenities were sparse. I was at a large tournament and they did not have enough help in the lounge in the evening when everyone was in there.

Can't be faulted, great time and good facilities. The hotel is big and in a good location. Room's are spacious.

Nice Hotel, Centrally located to everything

The Westin has a great style all around and such great access to everything. It's connected to a nice mall and a glass walking bridge to Union Station. Only 5 mins from Power and Light! And 10 mins from Westport

Nice hotel in great location in KC.

Pros: Room, bed, front desk and restaurant, and location
Cons: Not letting hotel guests be accosted by homeless panhandlers in front of doors of hotel.
Location: N/A, There on buisness but escalators in lobby go to the Mall.
Check in and Check Out was smooth. Front desk very helpful. Only complaint is when I would be waiting outside for hotel shuttle to take me to office for work, several times I was accosted by homeless men that were almost threatening wanting money and not a dollar or two. They were following me around and asking for 20's!!! I complained to doorman and he said there wasnt' anything he could do about it. Room spacious. Furniture and bed nice. Restaurant nice. Sliding glass doors fused shut and you cannot open door to balcony to get fresh air in room.

Great stay. It was in the middle of the areas we visited. We had trouble with our TV and the staff got it fixed quickly.

The Westin has a terrific location. It is time for the planned room update. I object to $25 for parking. Great bellman service. We went to Union Station and the World War 1 museum.

Perfectly Acceptable

I would say that overall the Westin met my expectations. The front-desk staff was efficient, accommodating, and polite. I would say the hotel--the lobby, the hallways,and rooms are clean. I had no concerns about the linens and towels at all--they were very clean. But I was there for 8 nights and I will say I started to notice a dust build up on the night stands and dressers as my stay went on. In addition I ran out of soap and shampoo and they were not replaced. When I called down to the front desk the response was quick for sure, but you hope not to have to do that. If I visited Kansas City again I would be willing to stay there again with no reservation but I might explore other options first.
