Very poor customer service very unprofessional from the front desk to the morning breakfast area specifically women seems they hate their job. Please beware as they charged unnecessary fees like parking even when you dont have a car and if you dispute the charged they will give you attitude. Not recommended to stay!

Everything was good, the time i had any issues would be with house keeping, as we were checking out, i understand we were a few minutes let but this 1 particular hous keeper was harassing us to get out because she needed to clean the room. Which i totally understand but to be rude and constantly bang on the door while we were trying to make sure we didnt leave anything behind. So but as far as all the other house keepers they were very polite, very respectful. That also goes for the front desk. Everyone was cool except that 1 individual. We probably caught her on the wrong day but, oh well. Not sure if we'll be staying there again. It was our favorite place but now its kind of in the air.

Staff were super helpful. Food trucks every night gave a diversity of local foods at a fair price. Pool opened at 9am and we were in it every day. We had a room with a suite and so awesome to have full kitchen and living space separate from bedroom so our daughter could rest as we stayed up.

The staff is what made me give the 3 stars because tbey were so awesome, friendly, and attentive. Unfortunately, there were supposed to be food trucks nightly since there is no restaurant. There was also supposed to be activities nightly but there were hosted parties instead. I thought i would have a full or half bar, but didnt. There some other things that were a challenge. I would definitely stay again but I would be better prepared since there are limited things to do in Kapolei...

$35 parking fee/night is unjustifiable for an unsecured lot. Also, the evening we checked in, the hotel was hosting a street fair where food trucks and booths were set up in their parking lot. When we arrived, a friendly hotel staff greeted us in the parking lot, gave us a parking pass and allowed us to drop off our luggage before we proceeded to look for a parking space. Things seemed fine until we struggled with finding a place to park. All the parking spaces were taken at the hotel and we had to park across the street on a dirt road in the event parking lot. Doesn’t make any sense that the hotel should charge us $35 to park on a lot that probably isn’t part of their property. Management should have reserved hotel parking for hotel guests.

I have stayed at your properties in different states, this was the worst breakfast ever, and there wasn't any silverware, plates, eggs were runny, sausage undercooked and the juice heavily watered down. No attempt from staff to make it right. Otherwise, accommodations was super as always.

Out of the hundreds of hotels I've stayed at in my life, the Kapolei Marriott Residence Inn is the ONLY hotel that the room was not ready when it was time to check in, and at the same time, I was denied a late check out the day of leaving. (I've traveled from Oahu to Africa and every continent) so it's odd being a local boy from Oahu and they basically twll you "Well too bad you're room wasn't ready at 3pm although you paid $350 USD a night) you still dont get a late checkout the next day" But the good thing is that the hotel is nice and Starbucks and 7-11 is a 2 to 3 min walk away from the hotel. And the Ka Makana Mall is NOT a 2 min drive away. Its realistically an 8 min drive with stop lights.

Not all Marriotts are equal.
The place was not near the ocean like the other Marriott Oahu Kapolei. You might be fooled by the reviews of the other beach front resort. Make sure you double check the name of the hotel. Residence Inn is not near the lagoon. There is not EV charger, breakfast finished at 9 :00 am.
