It's all yoursPosted May 29, 2017 on Hotels
First of all, always start on a positive note, right? The check-in was typical, the people operating the business are nice, helpful and very courteous. But, in discussion with my family, the best way to handle this place is to bulldoze it to the ground and start over. First thing noticed was the dank, moldy air of the place as soon as we entered the room. There was very little counter space in the bath area, and a very poor job of caulking around all the fixtures and tub showed me it's band-aid fixes everywhere. It took six times to flush the toilet, with nothing in it. That part the traveler is really going to like, because I cannot figure why someone would install a tankless fixture in a motel. Did I mention the insects? I'm not an etymologist, but there was quite a bit of diversity crawling around the whole room. I an certain though, there were no bedbugs, so that's a positive. If you plan on staying, just know you get what you are paying for.

just skip this onePosted Apr 28, 2017 on Hotels
The pool was still closed at the end of April. The evening staff was good but the morning staff was very rude. Would not stay here again. Would pass this one for the next Red Roof Inn for sure.

SADLY TOO CLOSE TO INTERSTATE HIGHWAYPosted Apr 16, 2017
Pros: (1) Price (2) Friendly and helpful manager
Cons: TV set was damaged with deformed screen. Better soundproofing.
Location: Near small town. There were several fast food outlets nearby.
The manager was very pleasant and helpful. He recognized us as an older couple and put us on the first floor near his office. Our room was very nice EXCEPT that the motel is physically located so near the Interstate and the soundproofing was INADEQUATE to lessen the road noises. It sounded as if there were LARGE TRUCKS passing THROUGH (AND I DO MEAN THROUGH--THEY SEEMED TO BE COMING AT US FROM ALL DIRECTIONS) our room, and I mean ALL NIGHT LONG!!! I obviously do not know how a traveler might fare in a room on the opposite side of the motel, but the noise level on our side was UNACCEPTABLE!!

Great DealPosted Feb 20, 2017 on Hotels
We arrived late, front desk clerk was friendly and fast. The room was clean and sufficient. Breakfast was a little sparse but there was a waffle machine, so the kids were happy. Again, front desk clerk was friendly and helpful. The bldg is old but generally neat and clean even though it's not in perfect condition. The bathroom was in a little bit of disrepair but clean and usable.

Easy place to pit stop for the night. Clean room. Near a convenient truck stop and food.
