Enjoy a gentle walk up Catbells (1 mile) for panoramic views, and if you fancy continuing across the fell tops, head on to Maiden Moor (3 miles), High Spy (3.5 miles), and Dale Head (5 miles). Reward the day’s efforts with a meal at the local inn, just half a mile from home so you can walk there and back and enjoy a tipple. Board a boat from the local launch and journey across to Keswick (3.5 miles by road), the Adventure Capital of England, where you can visit the cinema or Theatre by the Lake.
Great for returning home from exploring, the hallway leads to a boot room which has plenty of space for you to hang coats and leave boots. Also leading off the hallway is a handy cloakroom and a games room complete with table football, piano and space to tackle a puzzle. A door leads to the kitchen/diner and the lounge.
