We had flight delays, arrived late and left at 5am but still had an amazing dinner with Impala meat and a breakfast bag to go on the road. The room was clean and had every accommodation. The dining area and little lookout area was spectacular. The personal touches to celebrate our trip were all appreciated and we were able to engage in some good conversation. Boubou is located about 45 minutes from Pilanesberg so it was great for us to do a 1 day self drive safari from Johannesburg and convenient to stay. We preferred this to a resort or hotel because we wanted a better feel for the area in the very short time we had. I would recommend it for anyone who might not be quite ready to camp but also doesn't want a highly touristy resort in the area.
