From the moment that we checked in, things were not as expected. For the $260.00 for 2 night's stay that we paid, we expected a little more than we got. We feel like they pulled a "bait and switch" on us. #1- the room was far from the pics on the internet. It was more like a 12 x 12 box with a side bathroom, and very dated in appearance. [A closer look showed that there was toilet tissue plugged into the door's peep hole for an unknown reason; the heater didn't heat and a lamp was inoperative. #2- We didn't get the 2nd floor room that we had confirmed, instead, we were given a 3rd floor room that for two seniors, it made a difference carrying luggage to and from the room. #3- The breakfast turned out to be a bagel and sweet rolls. Again, was close to being a "continental breakfast" but not quite. #4- There was no staff to refresh the room during our stay. Making the bed, replacing the bath towels, coffee packets etc. Overall, we started out with expectations that weren't close to what we got. This caused us to start with a negative impression of the entire area and right now, there's no way that we would ever use a "Day's Inn" again or even return to that area.
