"This cottage is beautiful, water was supreme. Host was very communicative with good suggestions in town. Did try to contact the owner twice to discuss review before posting this, but they did not reach out. Massive drawback is no AC and 1 fan that we were told we could move around if need be-not cutting it. Not every window and door had screens, so we couldn't open everything up for a breeze. Two bedrooms upstairs reaching 38 degrees and 2 bedrooms downstairs that were better but still 28+ made it pretty tough to sleep. Common rooms we were sweating at night sitting down playing cards which was not comfortable. If we didn't have the water access, we would have left as it was pretty much unbearable. Pro moves- laundry, laundry soap, shampoo, conditioner, shower soap, washcloth, shower & beach towels provided. Place was absolutely clean, but they need to reimagine their garbage situation by purchasing a bear box or something similar so garbage can be put outside. With 9-10 guests, you are going to run out of room with one can. Need to rope off the hill as we got stuck and had to push out thinking it was parking, very dangerous with boat parked at the hilltop- need to tell guests where to park. Kitchen appliances (Ikea?) were not easy to use-a booklet or instructions would have been helpful for the microwave and the stove. Need a second fridge for 9-10 guests. My friend fell through a rotten board on the deck, need to look at this, dangerous. "

"I love every bit of stay I had at the resort with my family . The excellent service of staff, delicious food , cleanliness of room , and amenities the reason I would go back over again. Rocky Crest Resort is a perfect summer get away place that’s close to the city. "

"We only stayed one night. Had a good meal at the marina (Tailwinds). The room was very clean. The breakfast was ok, it would have been great if they had provided boiled eggs, or other protein sources. Would stay here again if we are ever in Parry Sound. It took about 6 minutes to walk to the marina."

"A true week's vacation in a slice of paradise just 30 minutes from Perry Sound. Reservation, check-in process and check-out could not have been more simple and effective. Cottage was fitted out as described and suited our needs. Kitchen was perfect for our needs as well. Wifi via Starlink was very good. Dube Lake is small but beautiful, peaceful and provided many hours of family boating and activity time. Our host was always reachable for any questions or issues we had. A wonderful getaway for the whole family!"

"Our stay was perfect and exactly as described. There was enough room for 6 guests. Kitchen and bedrooms were perfect. There were kayaks, a paddle board, canoe and more for us to use. The location was great, right on the water and close to golf courses. Would most definitely recommend! "

The kids especially loved playing on the sandy beach, while we enjoyed the peaceful, calm mornings watching the loons on the lake. "The property is a cool log home. It was clean. It was situated on a pretty lake. We had trouble getting in using the lock box. We were told one way to access it and that didn't work. We had to get in touch with a property owner to be given a code to get in. We were given one bath towel each, no other towels at all. We asked for more and were told to wash them. "

"Great area to take the kids. There was a lot of Waters sports that the kids used such as kayaks. Water, trampolines, etc.. There is a volleyball net, but you would need to bring your own Volleyball. Sand on the beach is super nice right for kids building Sandcastles"
