The location is excellent - just a short walk from train station, the Shambles, York Minster and many other attractions. Everything is easily walkable, which made exploring the city very convenient. The accommodation don’t answer the phone and Hotel.com have appalling customer service and just don’t care what happens after they take your money, they openly admit that they have NO complaints procedure and that they do not abide by Data Protection law. "On a glance a really lovely property, however little things such as stains in the carpets, towels on the dryer had makeup from previous guests, broken items such as the toilet seat- still useable however just inconvenient. Overall the property serves its purpose with nice decoration, and a lovely kitchen."
