"We had to find a last minute hotel to stay for one night in Rhodes due to late arrival. The owner of the hotel was very easy to communicate with and helped us with our late arrival at night. She was very nice and easy-going and showed us to the hotel, since it’s located deeper inte village. The room was very clean and had everything you might need. We only stayed for one night but could definitely stay longer. Overall very good service and accommodation."

We had a 1 bedroom apartment for three of us, it was spotlessly clean, wonderful beds & pillows and the shower was fantastic. "I will start with the pros: Hotel was clean, deluxe sea view room was lovely with the most perfect view. The food was good for an all inclusive. The Filipino and African staff were lovely. There were no sun-bed wars we always managed to get a sun-bed either by pool or beach after 10am. Cons: The food was nice but it was never warm enough. The Greek staff were rude/unfriendly we found this mostly at the Lobby bar and buffet restaurant, the pool bar staff were not rude but also not happy! The entertainment was awful! And timings were bad. After 10pm there is literally nothing! I’ve never seen so many people playing cards at a 5 star hotel. This hotel is mostly catered for families with young children who want early nights. There is nothing much going on in the day, I think there could be more things in main pool the days the DJ played just made the vibe a bit better. The sun-beds on the beach were basic, the adults only had nice cushioned sun beds as did the hotel next door. The adults only also has a drinks service to your bed…both classed as 5 star so to be it should be the same service to both hotels. Did I have a nice stay: yes, would I come back: no. Not 5* in my opinion."

"All round exceptional hotel with great staff. A wide variety of breakfast options, the restaurant was also excellent. Everywhere was clean and fresh, the Pool and bar was a great place to relax - though in the day time the road opposite could get noisy. The room was clean tidy and had plenty of space for luggage and clothes. The reception staff made it easy to book taxis and they arrived quickly. I would definitely recommend this hotel and hope to return in future."

"Lovely stay at the Sun Palace Hotel. The pool areas and the water park were great. Lots of places to sit and sunbeds. The only problem was that the sunbeds are very dated and uncomfy, a lot of them are ripped, broken. The food always had great variety and there is something for everyone. In between meal times there are cafes which have food you can get at any point. Unlimited gyros at the water park cafe. There are a lot of drinks machines plotted around and you just help yourself which is great as you don’t have to queue at a bar waiting. Same with the ice cream. The room cleaning was not great. we selected our room to be cleaned every day and the towels were always replaced. However, the bedding wasn’t. Additionally, the bathroom was dirty and it was not cleaned once. I think they only replace towels and change bedding on certain days. The location is close to Faliraki strip and beach. It is also approximately 20 minutes away from the old town and airport in a car. There is free parking at the hotel and we hired a car which was great. Overall, great stay at a very reasonable price and the staff were friendly."

"I had an issue with the patio door lock on arrival. The manager called the maintenance guy out at 9pm at night to attempt to fix but was unable to. They promptly moved me to the same room opposite and promised to fix it by the morning. They kept that promise, and I was offered my original room back or could have stayed but I opted to take my original room. One day I got back and there was a small gift from the hotel to apologise! There was no need it was dealt with. The staff were wonderful and always friendly and smiling, nothing was ever too much. The mini bar addition in the room was a nice addition as well!"

"We stayed in an Executive room for five nights. 1. We weren't told that the room is cleaned and tidied only every other day. Things like that should be mentioned in advance. 2. There was a coffee machine in the room. We ran out of coffee capsules after a day and a half. When I asked why the coffee supplies hadn't been replenished, I was told that this had to be done through room service (for a fee!)"
