"Just returned from a fantastic 3 nights at Casa Cayuco with our family of 5\. Everything, from the welcome and transfers, to the smoothies/drinks, fresh made meals with local ingredients, to the excursions far exceeded our expectations. We are a mixed Panamanian-American family, and Casa Cayuco allowed us to introduce our children to the most beautiful parts of this country. I have been to Bocas Del Toro several times, but Casa Cayuco has the strongest relationship with its indigenous neighbors of any property I have previously stayed at. We definitely plan to return. "

"This lodge is far more than a hotel. It is an experience. They take excellent care of you. The food is amazing and the details in preperation is top quality. My spouse and I enjoyed the realxed atmosphere but also the activities. We went on the wildlife tour, the bat caves and snorkeling (arranged by La Loma). All were fun. Be aware that you are in the jungle with jungle noises at night and no walls. After the first night, we got used to the sounds and actually found them soothing. From the cocao tea and muffins at your door before you wake, to the incredible sunsets from the dining room, it is an excellentexperience. I'm sad we had to leave. "

"We had a great time staying here with our two kids ages 4 and 6\. The house is right on a beautiful beach with calm, shallow waters for swimming. We also took out the kayaks several times to paddle around and went on boat excursions to the Zapatillas Islands and a chocolate farm, as well as a tour into the village and surrounding jungle with local guide Calypso, which was a highlight!The house itself is spacious and well-appointed with incredible views from the deck.This is a more remote area of Bocas and Isla Bastimiento, so be sure that's what you're looking for when considering it, but it's great for those want a quiet, relatively private place in a beautiful area. There is a resort that is a short walk down the beach where we were able to get dinner, and others further down."

"Property is beautiful and perfect for a very quiet, low-key, rustic beach experience. It was a bit stormy while we were there, so water was very murky and not good for snorkeling or kayaking. Definitely bring your own food and supplies, as there are no stores there, and eating out at the two neighbouring resorts can become very pricey, and they can be hard to book. Sterling was very helpful and quick to respond to all of our questions and requests, although we never saw him in person. Be sure to reach out and ask for what you need! Hilario, Sterling's employee was the one to help us, but the language barrier made it difficult to plan things at times. He did take us to Zapatillas and Coral Caye for snorkeling, which was a lot of fun. "
