Awesome Stay

I recently stayed at this hotel, and I must say it’s a very niche spot located in a quiet area. The room was spacious and equipped with all the essentials a hotel guest could need. Getting there was a breeze—a quick ride from Kyoto Station via Uber, which cost only about USD 10. If you prefer public transport, it's about a 15-minute walk from the nearest station. Overall, it was an awesome stay, and I highly recommend this hotel for anyone looking for a peaceful retreat in Kyoto.

Fantastic room with ample storage space. Modern decor, very clean bathroom, separate toilet/vanity/shower. We had 2 adults, 2 teens and 1 child and it still felt roomy. Great to have a kitchenette also so we could heat up meals and buy groceries. Close to bus stops with buses only a10 minute ride to Central Kyoto. Loved our stay there! Would book this place on our next trip to Kyoto.

This was our 2nd hotel during our 14 day trip through Japan. Overall it was our favorite; the cleanliness & location was great. The front desk has weird hours & the staff answering the phone was only Japanese speaking so it was a bit hard asking some questions but overall it wasn’t that big of an issue. Would stay again.

Great place with nice staff, my friends and I have really enjoyed our stay. One thing to note is that the hotel is about 15 mins walk to the closest subway station. There is a bus stop near by, but the operating hours are shorter for buses.

The hotel is very new and the dinning area of the room is the best part of the stay. Since it is located at a small lane, it is not car friendly, so there is no drop off place at the entrance, and you have to drive your car out of the lane if there is a car approaching.

Had a great time at the hotel. Quite walkable to nearby sites like Nishiki Market. Very close to bus stops (3 minutes walk), a bit of a longer distance to train stations. Within 5 minutes to Lawsons and 7-11 and there is a small local shopping street next to Lawsons with some cafes, restaurants, produce/grocery stores, and other stores. Beware that taxi drivers might find it difficult to find the hotel. It took a bit for the driver to figure it out and still ended up one street over from the hotel. You will definitely need the address in Japanese. Room was large enough to comfortably hold 3-4 people. Beware though that bunk beds are not soft and just a thin mattress/futon on a hard base. I didn't mind it but if your sensitive about it, don't book the room with bunk beds. Some areas were dusty (shelves/drawers inside the dresser, the ledges beside the beds). We just wiped it off ourselves. Because we stayed for 2 weeks, cleaning was arranged every 3 days. Kitchen is tiny with 1 burner, so you definitely can't make a feast, but it worked for simple stuff like noodles. Super convenient. All cutlery, dishes and pot/pan are in the room already. We requested a knife and cutting board at reception during their open hours. All in all, a nice quiet place to stay. Very happy with the hotel.
