“The Maison de Tari is a perfect place to stay for families looking to explore the area around Sarlat. We stayed in a family room with three small children and it suited us perfectly. All rooms had a separate outside sitting area with a large table. It had a good sized pool, a separate communal cooking and dining area, including a gas BBQ and a fridge. A great continental breakfast was provided that included fresh pastries from the local bakery, and a selection of local jams, cheeses and meats....

“Bernadette was an excellent host. Family of 4 was very comfortable in two adjoining rooms. Rooms and bathrooms have all been renovated with modern amenities . Beds were very comfortable. Host asked us the night before when we would like breakfast, her suggestion for 9:00 am was perfect time. Fresh pastries ( all homemade) yogurt, jams, juice and coffee and chocolate milk for kids, were all ready for us. We enjoyed talking to Bernadette about our travels during breakfast. Property was spacious...

“We thought we'd booked a hotel and were pleasantly surprised to find it a B&B. It's close to the highway but not in town and we were tired so we took advantage of the offer for an evening meal. The meal was what I have been expecting since I got to France. It was the best meal I've had in France. I can't wait for breakfast. The place is run by a nice, hard working, young couple who do a great job of making you feel welcome and comfortable. ”
