We have stayed at The Blue Heron several times. The breakfast is not impressive and the coffee is terrible. When are they going to upgrade to larger TVs? You can hardly see the TV because it is small and mounted up high. The staff is great and the restaurant is very nice with good food, great environment and wonderful staff!

The staff is very friendly and helpful. Really nice views of the lake. The decor is a dated, but everything was clean and comfortable.

Room was beautiful but did not have hot water at all in the st room i was put in. Then staff says oh we have been having an issue with that side for a while. Them why allow people to book it??? Then you can hear everything from another room and i mean everything. They end up giving me a discount and changed rooms on the very end of the last day. Breakfast selection was small but ok. I wouldnt recommend booking any rooms by 203.

This is the second time we have stayed here. Again amazing!! The issues we had when we stayed last time had been addressed. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Love the fireplace and soaking tub. We will be back again. Only place we stay at when we go to La Porte.

The Hotel itself was nice & quaint. The room was ok...strange color combo but very comfortable & clean. But the towels gotta go...wimpy thin..couldnt get dry with them beacause so thin & lifeless. 2 towels for 2 people not enough. Toliet seat was crazy misfit. But the room was very clean & comfy. Breakfast was fantastic with lots of selections.

A friendly staff, good breakfasts and a steak restaurant with excellent food. It was snowy and cold, so I didn't get to enjoy the lakeside much but a lovely location on the lake.
