We love everything about it: the location for bike riding, the roominess and loveliness of the decor, the ease of communication with the owner and caretaker, the well appointed kitchen, the outdoor space for grilling and eating, and having washing machine and clothesline! The evening sunsets over the Dentelles and the village above were nothing short of spectacular. Lots of hiking paths nearby. The house is on a main cycling route with quiet roads through the hills. Excellent communication with Maria, the owner. Brigita, the local rep lives in the village, speaks English and was very responsive to our needs. The lovely small L'Acacia restaurant in La Roque-Alric is worth a visit. Nearby Beaumes-des-Venise has a good supermarket and boulangerie. The ever-changing view of the Dentelles from the lounge window was always a pleasure. Very awkward entrance steps to the house. The smaller bedroom and bathroom of the property is unattractive. Maybe too many personal items left around in the house? Well-equipped with glasses, crockery, cooking pans etc. Plenty of hot water and towels. The kitchen is well appointed; bedrooms are separate with their own bathrooms, making it a very comfortable space for us. Large and smaller picture windows abound. The caregiver and property owner were generous, kind, and easily reached. Roque Alric has a wonderful restaurant, and the villages nearby offer very good food, typical of the Vaucluse. Naturally, we ate well and every meal, whether at home or in a restaurant, was a treat. The house and kitchen were well equipped. Everything worked well. Plenty of nearby villages to visit and hike nearby. Overall, this was an ideal stay in the French countryside. Both the bedrooms were really separate buildings closely connected to the central living room and kitchen. The kitchen was awesome; obviously the owners like to cook. There was all manner of equipment for us to play with. The windows were excellently placed to frame views of the town and the Dentelles de Montmirail. It comes with a well appointed kitchen in which we prepared many meals. The three bedrooms, separated with their own bathrooms, allowed us two couples some separation and privacy when needed. This home in Laroque-Alric is a relaxing place in a beautiful setting. With comfortable beds, peaceful outdoor dinning, incredible gardens and the best equipped kitchen we have ever used in our 20 years of traveling, it is a pleasurable stay. Erholung pur in einzigartiger Umgebung- Ideal für Wander- oder Fahrradurlaub- oder einfach zum Ausspannen. Das Haus ist architektonisch einzigartig, lichtdurchflutet, hell und freundlich und umfassend ausgestattet. (noch besser als in der Beschreibung angegeben). Ein Ferienhaus mit so viel Geschirr, mit solch hochwertigen Pfannen und Töpfe haben wir noch nie erlebt. Herzlichen Dank an Marie für das Vertrauen ihr Equipment mit uns zu teilen. Wunderschön ist auch der Ausblick von den Sofas auf die umliegenden Berge und die Natur. Der Aufenthalt macht einfach Spaß und ist Balsam für die Seele. Wir sind Nichtraucher! Obwohl lt. Anzeige das Rauchen erlaub ist, riecht es im Haus nirgends nach Zigarettenqualm. Vielen Dank an Marie für die schönen Tage. Wir kommen auf alle Fälle wieder. Hinweis: Aufgrund der Lage (am Hang) und der Aufteilung (2\.
