"The shower head connection to the wall is unstable. The socket is loose and does not hold the shower head in position. The shower connection from the middle of the tub is impractical since it is in the way when trying to take a shower. Overall, place is very well designed except for the shower upstairs and downstairs against sloped ceiling... Not great for tall people. Also, upstairs tub is a slipping hazard when trying to work with the in the way shower head and connection."

"If Oliver's place is available, book it! We had a relaxing holiday among the orange and lemon trees. The house is extremely clean and well stocked. We had so much fun playing badminton, using the pool, exploring the grounds, and relaxing in the sunshine. Oliver's suggestions for local hikes are spot on - we hiked each day of our stay. The walk to town is safe and feasible during the day - after our first night we used our car for trips at night. We can't wait to return!"

"Location was outstanding. Walking distance to all the major city sites, neighborhoods and restaurants. Apartment was really well furnished and quite comfortable. Great place. Only negative is the noise. Location is on a busy street so traffic noise late into the night with the younger crowd leaving bars until 5 am."

There is parking in a nearby garage (make sure you are shown where it is and how to access). Very convenient and easy drive to Alhambra. We parked there on a couple of occasions and walked down to the city. Only a 7 euro taxi ride from city to parking (note: we were quoted 15 euros for the ride by FreeNow....they didn't turn up so we flagged a taxi down and it was half...

"Alquilé la planta baja con la familia y todo parecía ir bien. La mujer muy simpática nos ofreció todas las facilidades del mundo para llegar a su vivienda. El problema fué la sorpresa que nos llevemos a la salida cuando nos notificaron que se había hecho un nuevo cargo a la tarjeta de 130 euros alegando que les había desaparecido supuestamente tres toallas y un edredón, cosa que nos indigna hasta tal punto de estropear la experiencia al 100%. "The well appointed rustic dwelling was ideal and well equipped. The view was fantastic. The host was very friendly and helpful Our only problem was our failure to notice that the pool was shared with the host and his other small letting on the site. This turned out not to be a problem at all."

"Stefan and Naomi have created a little paradise in this authentically rebuilt village house. The (shared) rooftop patio, cave jacuzzi (bit too cool in october) and garden courtyard were magical and the units were very well finished. The unit was larger than pictures suggested. Great base for our week of exploring ang road cycling."

"Great week at Casa Azahar. The house is very special. It was difficult to choose a favourite space in such an interesting and comfortable property. The interior patio, pool room, terraces, sitting room and of course the pool were all fantastic. Walks in surrounding area and proximity to Grenada add to the attraction of Casa Azahar."
