“Lovely to stay in relaxed atmosphere on the first night of a 6 week driving tour of Europe in a beautiful setting. All very smooth running from booking, through our stay in lovely garden chalet with great use of good restaurant for dinner and breakfast setting us up for next day travels!”

“Very basic hotel, the double bed was quite small. Friendly staff but we don’t speak any French and no one spoke English so we struggled to make ourselves understood - they did their best though. Great food in onsite restaurants ”

“Honestly for one night it’s great, we arrived late so missed the check in period but they offer a digital check in and we thought that was so effective. Has everything you need. ”

“Room spotless. Comfortable bed & lovely bathroom. But awfully small. Could only open 1 bag at a time. Check in instructions only came through 10mins before our arrival. Just not good enough for us. But all in all (& for the price) was excellent. Chaumont is a beautiful town. Buffalo Grill brilliant!!”

“This was a very comfortable overnight stay on the way to a half term ski holiday. Room was clean and comfortable and had everything we needed. Street parking only but seemed ok. Breakfast was great. Owner was happy to speak English and was funny and very accommodating ”

“Petit déjeuner : pas de poubelle à côté du presse agrumes, croissants un peu trop cuits), mais du choix et un excellent rapport qualité prix; Restaurant : en dehors du pain, tout était très fin, excellent dîner (mention spéciale au tataki de boeuf) Chambres : spacieuses, propres, confortables (un petit frigo serait un plus, commande la chasse d'eau mériterait d'être mieux fixée). Globalement, un excellent rapport qualité prix. Et le personnel, d’une gentillesse remarquable.”

“The room was ok, but missed airconditioning. The staff is not very helpful and they only speak French, they even do not try to speak English or try to help you. When you run a hotel and only speak French that is not the way to do. Food is good, taste and quality.”
