Location: It's not directly on the beach, but just a minute away. Close to Front Street where there is lots of shopping and restaurants.
Our stay at Ho'oilo House was quiet and relaxing, just what my husband and I needed. Loved the breakfast, especially the muffins.

Tutto perfetto! Non potevamo scegliere posto migliore per la nostra luna di miele. Stanza Hanu spaziosa, vista strepitosa, colazione ottima, doccia all'aperto! Insomma, un soggiorno indimenticabile!

Amazing stay

We stayed here for five days during our honeymoon. The place is beautiful and has a very high standard. The setting is amazing with beautiful gardens and miles wide views over the Pacific Ocean. We loved this place, we can highly recommend it to anyone looking for a different experience from the big resorts but without giving up the high standard. The house is located on a hill slope in a quiet residential area about 10 minutes’ drive from Lahaina. Lahaina is a charming old fishing town with a lot of restaurants and shops. There are several beaches very close by. All rooms has their individual style. We stayed in the Akala Manu room. It’s a spacious room with a kings-size bed and a huge bathroom with a nice copper bathtub. The bathroom has an outdoor shower. There is also a private porch with partly ocean view. Rooms are clean and interior is stylish and modern. Solar panels will cover most of the energy usage and sustainable products (shampoo, body wash, soap and conditioner) are provided in every room. Every morning between 8-10 am you will be served a complimentary continental breakfast in the common area of the house. There is a swimming pool outside the common area and a few sunbeds. It’s the perfect place to watch the sunset from. Parking is free on the property. There is a water cooler with complimentary drinking water. The owners are very friendly, helpful and welcoming. They can give you great advice on what to do on the island.

Loved the setting and decor of the place, spent lot of mornings lounging near the pool, eating breakfast and reading. The outdoor shower had a nice view of the mountains. Hosts, Dan and Amy, were very helpful throughout our stay.

A little gem of a find

Peaceful, beautiful surroundings. Rooms large with private space with the added bonus of outdoor showers. Great place for couples or those seeking an escape from the main towns but only 5 minute drive away to shops & restaurants.

Top of the line B&B

Pros: Ho'oilo House is a lovely, enchanting bed and breakfast on a hillside with spectacular views of the Pacific. Clean and quiet, a unique experience.
Location: Ho'oilo House is about eight tendthd of a mile up from the highway and water's edge. Plan on driving several miles to restaurants and attractions.
We arrived a bit early. An envelope with my name neatly printed was taped to the front door which is never locked. Inside the envelope was a welcoming letter and basic instructions. We found our way to our large and comfortable quarters and deposited our luggage. Soon after we met the housekeeper and owner and were greeted cordially. The house which we were told was imported from Bali, has a tropical feel with many beautiful touches. The grounds were well manicured. Were it not for the calls of the tropical birds and the tinkling of the water flowing from fountains one could have heard a pin drop. The continental breakfast was tasty and satisfying. After the hustle and bustle of Honolulu the serenity of the Ho'oilo house was most welcome. My offer to pay for my lost room key was politely declined.

Great place on Maui. Different experience than the big resorts, but every bit the high class.
