Loved Split Rock Resort

Last minute getaway and was a great experience. Priced well, beautiful lake and lots of activities for the kids

Great stay

We had a good experience at the resort water park. I was a little disappointed with the room cleanness, but beside that my kids and I had a great stay. Nice bar, activities and staffs.

Needs work

Asked to consider a timeshare. Mold in shower. Resort needs over haul. We go every year; looking for a new place now.

Overall the stay here wasn't bad. The food was great, my family had a great time. I would stay here again. Only downside was the Lakeview lodge was really deserted, no customer service person to help you. No one in the lobby. The pool was very hard to find. Need more signs. Even with that our family had a blast. Would return soon

We are glad your family had a great time staying with us and you enjoyed the food. Our historic lodge is a little less occupied when we're not in peak season which can make it a peaceful getaway. When booking a room with us you can always request which lodging accommodation you would like (galleria, lodge, or willowbrook suites). We appreciate your suggestion to add more signs, and we are working on adding more signage throughout our resort for the summer!

the receptionist at the main hotel did not speak English, be careful, they put us in the old hotel and there was no receptionist there. we didn't even know if we were in the right place. no elevators

Good experience at Split Rock

Friendly staff, obviously great family destination. Everything was clean but the facility looks a little worn. One set of automatic doors at the main entrance was out of order during our two day stay, and for a short time one of the elevators was broken. We were upgraded to a suite due to some confusion upon checking in, which was appreciated. Bed was comfy, kitchenette was handy. Awesome local restaurants nearby and close to ski areas.

Angela, we're glad you and your family had a satisfactory stay with us, and we couldn't agree more that we are a great family destination. We are conveniently located near Jack Frost Big Boulder. One set of our automatic doors was done for a short time due to the recent storm, but it has since been fixed. We are also getting our elevator replaced within the upcoming months. We're pleased that the upgrade to the suite room was appreciated.
