"The staff was exceptional. Everyone acknowledged when you passed by. Our room was a surprise for being roomy. We had 6 adults and we were not stepping over each other. I was pleasantly surprise. The coffee was the best I’ve ever had in a hotel. The only “iffy” was the breakfast. It was ok. Premade sandwiches were just ok. My adult kids who are experienced at making waffles in hotels said they were not good. "

"We had an incredible time at the Montage Palmetto Bluff. The service is unparalleled, and the staff go out of their way to ensure a lovely stay. They have golf carts to shuttle you to and from places on site (dinner, shopping, boating, etc). Additionally, the staff will handle any and all reservations on your behalf. The complimentary bikes allow guests to enjoy a charming way to sight see. There are just so many amenities for a couples weekend or family fun. We loved our weekend away and look forward to returning. "

"Staff is great .. check in went smooth and the young man was friendly and helpful. Nice basic room, everything was clean and comfortable. Parking on site was easy and available. Charging for breakfast makes the choice of where to stay a bit more competitive. I understand the cost of providing a breakfast program is going up weekly it seems, in my industry it’s imperative to provide some complementary courtesy amenities to customers, so too I would think is some kind of complimentary breakfast in the hotel industry. That said it will factor in but not be the deciding factor on where we stay next time. This is a great hotel for a one or two night stay just before heading onto the island. They will make you feel welcome. Definitely consider staying again."

"Quieter part of the island and the hotel is kept up nicely. Great pool and beach access. Lovely bar atmosphere at the pool and comfortable beds and rooms. "

"I don't think I've ever stayed in a place as clean as this one! Absolutely spotless! We even witnessed a lady cleaning the outside of the doors!! The staff was very helpful and pleasant and even gave us a $25 gift card to the Italian restaurant (located in the same parking lot). It's within 5-10 minutes of the beaches and right across the street from Walmart, though you'd never know it because Hilton Head leaves the trees alone, hiding most of the buildings and parking lots. The price is cheaper than most hotels, and although several other rental properties are right in the beach or within walking distance, I'd still choose to stay here simply because of how clean the rooms are. The staff seems to really appreciate their jobs and take pride in their work. "
