We liked the hiking trails nearby for walking the dog so much that we stayed here twice-- once each leg going to and from FL. Our 3rd floor room on the second stay was much quieter than our first visit when we were on the1st floor. Our first floor room had no carpet(all LVP flooring) which seems cleaner than carpet but makes hall noise worse. Ask for a carpeted room if noise from the hallway is an issue for you. Great breakfast was also a plus!

The hotel was not as clean as I would have liked. From reading past reviews and ratings, I had really high expectations for cleanliness. Our room was nice and spacious. The bathroom sink didn’t drain and one of the heaters was not working and had a terrible cold draft from the outside. The pull out sofa was like sleeping on straight up springs. No padding at all. I felt bad for my son who had to sleep on it. The kids did have fun in the pool. The water could have been a tad bit warmer though. Overall it was ok. Not wonderful, but ok.
