The owner was very helpful; he and his wife have worked hard to create a charming cottage (along with camper accomodations below) on the far south side of St. John near Salt Bay Pond. “This was our first trip to the USVI and on a whim we chose Water Island. It did not disappoint! The property was perfect, and what a view! We enjoyed the back patio in the morning to watch the sunrise and see the cruise ships roll in and in the evening we had tortoises visit and just enjoyed the breeze. “This is a lovely property. It is private and well stocked. The outstanding view from the deck, especially at sunrise, offsets the 86, slippery when wet, steps to get to the cottage. The location is get. We are partial to the Coral Bay area. So, this was a great find.”

“We enjoyed our stay and exploring St. John. We had been a little apprehensive about staying in Coral Bay, but we found it peaceful and convenient. Several local markets met our needs and a couple of restaurants were casual and had good food. The apartment was unique and the builder had taken care and pride in the design and workmanship. It was great for the two of us and we would gladly return.”

“We checked in the the cottage for the second half of our trip to St. Croix. The communication with Alison was excellent! She was very helpful with all sorts of recommendations regarding our stay on St. Croix. The cottage was perfect! All that the 2 of us needed! “We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this beautiful, comfortable villa that overlooks Coral Bay. It is beautifully decorated, island-style, and yet so comfortable to relax in after a day of beaching, snorkeling, or hiking. Details make a difference, such as a well equipped kitchen, beach equipment At the ready, great TV and speakers, fun games collection and my favorite, a very thoughtful book and nature guide collection. We will definitely return!”
